Green-Tag®
Sustainability is the fundamental pillar on which Apna Organics' foundation is based upon. Apna Organics is a 50 years old organisation that believes keeping a strict balance between utilization and conservation of resources so that when the torch is passed to next generation. they can also use the same resources that their previous generation had the privilege to utilize .
GREEN-TAG® is an open program by Apna Organics to promote sustainable practices in textile and garment washing industry including accountability and traceability among the stakeholders. The simple idea is to have an open interaction as to what is being used in fabric, garment or apparels so we can choose a better and safer alternative over others.
The simple idea is to reduce carbon footprint by creating a sensible management for chemical application by reducing unnecessary water consumption and other natural resources while still maintaining the high quality standards required by the stakeholders.
